National Animal Disease Control Programme (NADCP) organized by Dr.K.L.Rao Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Garikapadu, Krishna district at Kanneveedu on 11.09.2019
Dr.K.L.Rao Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Garikapadu and Department of Animal Husbandry, Krishna district was jointly organized the launching programme of the "National Animal Disease Control Programme, Nationwide artificial insemination programme and Swachhta Hi Sewa" on 11.09.2019 at Kanneveedu village (Veterinary dispensery centre), Vatsavai mandal, Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. Nearly about 90 farmer were participated in the programme and 184 number of animals were diagnosed the problems. Dr.K.Bharat Ramesh, Joint Director of Animal Husbandry, Krishna district has participated as a Chief Guest interacted with the farmers and explained about the differences between buffalo and cow and its management aspects. The live telecast on launching programme of NADCP by Shri Narendra Modi, Hon'ble Prime minister of India was telecasted to the farmers. Dr.K.Vasanta Bhanu, Programme Coordinator presided over the programme and explain about the importance of NADCP and KVK activities going on in the Kanneveedu village. Dr.T.Prasantha Kumar, SMS(Agril Extension) explain the importance of the animal disease control programme. Dr.K.Bhavani Prasad explains about the artificial insemination and disease control in the animals. Dr.P.Anil and Dr.C.K.E.Narasimha Reddy were diagnosis the animals and gave the recommendations along with free medicines.
