KVK Sivaganga organised a webinar through Zoom meeting App on 20.05.2020 between 11.15 am and 1.00 pm on the occasion of Word Bee Day 2020. Farmers were oriented on the importance of seasonal bee management, diversification in beekeeping, role of bees in crop pollination and management of bees against bee enemies and diseases. Farmers were also encouraged to undertake beekeeping as a viable rural enterprise for employment generation in rural sector. A total of 37 interested farmers, Department officials and KVK Scientists took part in the webinar.
