Linking Annapoorna Krishi Prasara Seva (AKPS) Mobile advisory to Rythu Barosa Kendralu (RBKs) of DOA in Srikakulam District

About RBKs:

1. Andhra Pradesh Government has launched Rythu Barosa kendras (RBKs) in every village as Village Resource centres on 30.05.2020. 820 Rythu Barosa kendras (RBKs) were established in Srikakulam District.

2. Agriculture and allied sectors Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Sericulture and Marketing related services will be available for farmers.

One Village Agriculture Assistant (VAA) with technical qualifications of Agri Polytechnic or BSC(Ag) will be kept as in charge of the RBKs

Process of Linking AKPS to RBKS:

1. The Incharges of the Rythu Barosa Kendras (VAA) will be registered under AKPS Mobile Advisory Services.

2. Need based push messages and voice messages related crop management and weather based advisories will be sent to the RBK Inchrages.

3. Toll Free Number will also extended to the RBK Incharges, if they want any technical clarification from scientists they can call the AKPS, Inturn they can serve the farmers better

Action points:

1. Registration of the RBK In charges under AKPS mobile advisory serve. , Phone number will be obtained from JDA.

2. Orientation to the RBK In charges about AKPS services during our regular training programmes to the extension functionaries.

3. Messages will be sent to the RBK Incharges about AKPS services to create awareness and familiar with the mobile advisory.
